Canada Day on Canada C3

Charlottetown is a charming place to spend Canada Day! On the 150th anniversary of Confederation, we spent the day celebrating all of Canada’s achievements and also looking towards the future, imaging how the country could be even better.

In the morning, one group of our participants took part in the famed North Rustico Canada Day parade on the Parks Canada float.

Meanwhile, another group toured a tall ship that was docked closeby our own ship.

One of our participants had some fun socks for Canada Day.

Later on, our participants took in the Dream Catchers performance.

The Dream Catchers team collected the dreams of young Canadians from across the country. These dreams then fuelled a musical performance with spoken word, hip hop, folk, contemporary and Indigenous dance.

We left the dock for dinner and came together to watch the fireworks from the sea.
