We will be spending a couple of days in Montreal to join in the celebration of the 375th anniversary of the second largest French-speaking city in the world. We’ll then continue sailing down the backbone of Quebec, where we will explore some of the oldest cities in North America. We’ll climb into the Saguenay Fjord, scan the surface of the St. Lawrence River looking for whales and shipwrecks and visit divers in the coastal communities of the St. Lawrence Valley.
The Highlights of Leg 2
We will participate in Montreal 375, learn about biodiversity and whales in the Saguenay and celebrate National Aboriginal Day at a UNESCO Biosphere reserve in Baie-Comeau.
