We launched from Canada’s biggest city, sailing down Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Populous multicultural communities line this historic seaway, as well as forts, archaeological sites, parks and traditional Anishinaabe and Mohawk lands. We celebrated World Environment Day in Kingston and World Oceans Day in Cornwall with the first group of Canada C3 participants.

After our launch in Toronto, we sampled gourmet offerings at Picton’s Great Canadian Cheese Festival, celebrated social innovation in Kingston and travelled through the Thousand Islands.
