Amy lives, works and plays in Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island. She lives with her husband, her crazy and wonderful toddler and dog. Amy works for the Fisheries and Oceans Canada at the Pacific Biological Station where she uses molecular genetics to help study the impacts of disease and the environment on salmon and other fish. Amy loves being on the ocean and in the mountains, sailing, kayaking, hiking and biking.
