Anne Provencher St-Pierre
Journey Participant

Originally from Quebec, Anne Provencher St-Pierre currently lives in Newfoundland where she is a doctoral student in marine biology at Memorial University. During her master’s and her doctorate, her research projects focused on the biology and ecology of benthic species of the northeastern Atlantic, including sea stars, crabs, kelp and sea urchins. Through her studies and her passion for scuba diving, Anne is determined to share her knowledge of the maritime environment with the public in order to show the beauty, richness, importance and fragility of marine ecosystems in Eastern Canada.
