Dawn Negus

Dawn Negus is an environmental technologist from Dartmouth, N.S., specializing in assessment, remediation and emergency spill response. She is also a banjo player and bassist and is active in a handful of bands in Halifax. She has written and performed music for a dozen plays and comedy productions, and is currently composing a piece for a Montreal-based percussionist to be debuted in the spring of 2018. Dawn has worked as a ship-keeper aboard CSS Acadia at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, and is looking forward to contributing to life aboard an active research vessel!
