Ellie Clin

Ellie Clin is a self-described professional vagabond who explored all seven continents and both polar regions by the age of 30. A certified teacher by training, she holds a master of arts in child study and education from the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study/University of Toronto and was recently recognized with the Edward Burtynsky Award for Teaching Excellence in Environmental Education. Her most recent collaborations include acting as a staff educator for Students on Ice, a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow with National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions, an educational consultant for the Madeleine Co. Climate Talks documentary series, a classroom teacher at the Grove Community School in Toronto and now as a member of the Canada C3 Education Team. An adventurer at heart, you can often find Ellie snowshoeing on the trails behind the Canada C3 office building. (That is when she’s not scuba diving, kayaking or trail running.) She is a strong believer in the healing powers of the land — physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally. Her favourite part of Canada is the opportunity to try all of the local flavours as she eats her way from coast to coast to coast.
