Guylaine Bernier: An Olympic rower (1976, in Montreal), and a long-time volunteer and sport advocate. She was on the International Rowing Federation’s (FISA) Umpiring Commission for 16 years; took part in many international events and her 5th Olympic Games in 2008. She was inducted into the Québec Sports Hall of Fame as an athlete in 1996. Guylaine has been an active Board member including: Institut National du Sport du Québec, Rowing Canada, CAAWS, Canada Games Council, Canadian Olympic Committee. In her professional career, she worked for Hydro Quebec with senior management positions in strategic management, organization development-human resources and she is the recipient of many awards and honors.
