John Crump is a Senior Science Writer at GRID-Arendal, a Norwegian foundation supporting UN Environment. He works with colleagues to develop innovative ways to communicate new knowledge to policy makers and the public. He’s a member of GRID-Arendal’s Polar team which provides strategic advice and information to UN Environment on rapid changes taking place at the poles and the implications this has for the rest of the planet. He also collaborates with people in the Arctic, South Pacific, Nepal, Indonesia, Europe and other places on climate change and other environmental challenges. And he is thrilled to be sailing through part of the Northwest Passage.
