Kalie Ulriksen grew up and lives in remote Northern Saskatchewan on the banks of the Reindeer Lake River. Wild Keewatin is her favorite place in the world. Kalie loves life. Friends would describe her as hardworking, honest, adventurous and a weekend warrior. Her favorite pastimes include spending quality time with her kokom (grandmother) and grandpa, caring for and watching her bees (Kalie is the most northernly beekeeper in Saskatchewan), hiking with her mate and their dogs, time with her children, tending gardens, woodworking and building in general and camping. Kalie works in the health field as a local ADI (Aboriginal diabetic initiative) worker.
