Lisa Kresky has lived in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut since 2003, where she teaches and next school year will be the guidance counsellor at Maani Ulujuk Ilinniarvik. She was one of the recipients of the Prime Minister’s Award of Teaching Excellence in 2012. She is also the founder and head coach of Aqsarniit Ujauttaq (Northern Lights Gymnastics), winning the Nunavut Sport and Recreation Volunteer of the Year Award in 2013. She loves to learn and has a M.Ed. In August, she will be done my Master’s of Counselling Psychology. She also loves to travel and has been to all seven continents!
