Nick Saul founded and leads Community Food Centres Canada, a national organization that builds and supports vibrant, food-focused community centres in low-income neighbourhoods. Health, belonging, equity and social change lie at the heart of these centres. Nick is a recipient of the Jane Jacobs Prize, the Queen?s Jubilee Medal and an honorary doctorate from Ryerson University. Born in Tanzania and raised in Canada, Nick?s bestselling book, The Stop: How the Fight for Good Food Transformed a Community and Inspired a Movement, written with his wife, Andrea Curtis, was published in 2012. He is the proud father of two boys.
