Shanna Baker is a senior editor at Hakai Magazine, an online publication based in Victoria, B.C., focused on coastal science and societies. During the Canada C3 expedition, she’ll be peering over the shoulders of scientists, trying to meet and listen to the stories of as many coasters as possible and cramming her memory cards full of photographs.
