Tracy Ross has a passion for science communication and exploration. Her daily work with Actua, Canada’s largest STEM outreach organization, engages 36 network members that reach more than 250,000 youth aged 6-16 in 500 communities across Canada. Tracy has a B.Sc. in environmental chemistry (Queen’s University) and an MA in the history and philosophy of science and technology (University of Toronto). She has sailed several lakes and oceans including the South Atlantic. Tracy’s home is in Toronto with her husband and their five-year-old son. Her parents are from Sydney, Cape Breton, where her maternal grandfather was the first Italian-Canadian school principal.
