Originally from P.E.I., now based in Toronto, Trevor Corkum is an award-winning writer and adult educator. Set to begin his PhD at the University of Toronto this fall, his academic research explores the intersections of storytelling, identity and migration. Trevor’s fiction, essays, journalism and reviews appear regularly in magazines and newspapers across the country. His work has been nominated for the Journey Prize, the National Magazine Award for Fiction and the CBC Prizes in Fiction and Non-fiction. In 2017, he served as writer-in-residence at Lester B. Pearson United World College. Trevor’s novel, the Electric Boy, is forthcoming with Doubleday Canada.
