Warren Barr’s family first came to North America 14 years after the Mayflower, so when people ask him where he is from and what his roots are he says North America. Warren has a long and interesting family history in Canada that spans the nation and includes several pivotal periods that helped develop the Canada we know today. It is these deep roots in our country that drive him professionally today. As a the Executive Chef at the Wickaninnish Inn, Warren’s focus is to develop a food program that showcases what we grow and produce within our borders.
