Yemisi Dare is a parasitologist and collections manager for the invertebrate (non-insect) section of the Canadian Museum of Nature. Her interest in parasites comes from a fascination with how organisms interact within unusual, vulnerable and complex environments.
She has never been to the arctic before and is very much looking forward to this expedition where she hopes to meet new people and celebrate this wonderful country’s diversity of cultures and nature. Yemisi is also excited to be participating in the sampling efforts of invertebrates and plants along the coastline from Qikiqtarjuaq to Pond Inlet.
