Mingan Islands

The Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve is a national park reserve located in the eastern area of Quebec on the north shore of Gulf of St. Lawrence. Famous for the largest concentration of erosion monoliths in Canada, the Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve encompasses hundreds of islands and islets sprinkled between the communities of Longue-Pointe and Aguanish, Que. It faces the Innu community of Ekuanitshit, whose people have hunted, fished and camped in the archipelago for thousands of years.
