Prince Edward County, or ‘The County’ as locals lovingly call it, is an island in Lake Ontario, roughly 160 km east of Toronto. With a rich history in agriculture, Prince Edward County has been a significant industry contributor of vegetables, hops, barley and even cheese since the early 1800s. The County was once the producer of  one third  of Canada’s canned goods  Today, The County is known for its 40+ wineries,  arts and theatre, farm-to-table way of life, , a new craft beer scene and Sandbanks Provincial Park, making it a popular destination for visitors..  Canada C3 will make its first stop in The County in early June.
