The Canada C3 expedition visited Sutton Island, Nunavut. The captain brought our ship got as close to the shore as he possibly could, and we took the opportunity to explore this spectacular area. Sutton Island is the ancestral home of the Puiplirmiut (or Puiblirmiut) and Noahonirmiut, Copper Inuit subgroups. Near where we stopped we found a cairn, left by another ship 25 years ago.
