When leg 15 began, we knew that Vancouver would be a great opportunity to further explore our theme of diversity and inclusion. Our visit to the Downtown Eastside, allowed us to learn more about community initiatives such as East Van Roasters, a social enterprise that offers a supportive environment and employment opportunities for women in recovery. It also offers delicious artisanal coffee and chocolates that we were only too happy to sample. Take a look.
