Iceberg Alley

This morning, we sailed through Iceberg Alley. It is hard to describe the feeling of seeing an iceberg slowly emerge out of the distance. We were absolutely filled with awe. Sadly, icebergs are becoming an even more common sight in Newfoundland. This year is one of the top 20 most severe ice seasons on record and climate change has had a key influence on that. This year, arctic sea ice also hit the lowest levels on record. We will continue to share the ice levels we observe as we travel north.
