Piari Kauki Gentes is a proud Inuk from Kuujjuaq, the largest northern village in Nunavik, Que. He finished secondary school at Kuujjuaq’s Jaanimmarik school, studied science in Montreal at John Abbott College and is enthusiastic about learning experientially. Piari loves meeting new people and getting to know them. He enjoys culturally-immersive travel, reading, sports, and outdoor activities. He has been to Mongolia several times where he lives a traditional Mongolian life on the land. Piari speaks English, French and Inuktitut and is learning Mongolian. He is looking forward to meeting people and sharing his experiences with Canadians on Leg 13 of the Canada C3 expedition!
