Uluriak Amarualik teaches Inuktitut at the Qarmartalik School in Resolute Bay in the winter and in the summer she keeps busy by working for various groups such as this summer she worked for the ECCC collecting seabird eggs for contaminant studies and monitoring shorebirds. Last year she worked for Parks Canada doing studies for the establishment of their new park. She is also the youth representative for the Sulukvaut Area Co-Management Committee responsible for managing Prince Leopold Island and Seymour Island Migratory Bird Sanctuaries and Polar Bear Pass National Wildlife Area.
