Anticosti Island

Yesterday, our participants had a wonderful day exploring Anticosti Island, a stunning hidden gem that is found deep in the Saint Lawrence Gulf and surrounded by tall white cliffs that are thousands of years old. Located between Gaspé and Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan, the Anticosti Island is a beautiful natural environment that made for a great stop for our Canada C3 participants. Our scientists collected water samples and different plants from the area, and the leg 3 participants did a hike with our friends from Parcs Québec. We won’t forget this spectacular island anytime soon.
