As we sailed to our final stop, Cambridge Bay, we stopped for a hike on Jenny Lind Island. This island is full of wildlife. We saw muskoxen and snow geese. We also observed many deceased snow geese and glaucous gulls. Our Canada C3 scientist Paul Allen Smith suspected these birds had died of cholera. We took our time visiting the island and appreciating nature. In the evening, we all came together on our helicopter deck to enjoy one last delicious meal made by our Chef Matt Krizan. It was a great opportunity to reflect back on the wonderful days we shared together and all that we have learned this leg.
