People visiting Tay Bay in Sirmilik National Park

Located on northern Baffin Island, Sirmilik National Park is one of Canada’s most isolated national parks. Sirmilik is an Inuktitut word that means ‘place of glaciers’. The park features an expansive landscape of glaciers, valleys, red-rock hoodoo, nesting seabirds, narwhal and beluga whales. Canada C3 will be visiting Tay Bay, which was named by Scottish whalers centuries ago, after the Tay island in Scotland.
