Early Detection of Marine Invaders

Kevin Ma is a doctoral candidate at Laval University’s department of biology. He is investigating the early detection of aquatic, invasive alien species. His expertise on marine invertebrates are focused on the identification of invasive marine species on the East Coast of Canada, and understanding their distribution and ability to thrive. Water samples and scrapings from floating docks and moored boats will be collected for his research during the expedition.
