On leg 2 of our journey, ocean scientist Dr. Lyne Morissette created a 90-second Marine Litter Challenge for herself. Armed with ziploc bags able to hold 2 liters of water, she collected water and sand samples in many of the coastal communities that Canada C3 visited to determine how much marine litter she could collect in those 90 seconds. Dr. Morissette and many more of our scientists on the Canada C3 expedition had the opportunity to study lesser known areas of 25,000km of Canada's coastline.
