To share the stories, messages and lessons learned about Canada’s past, present, and future we are working towards producing documentaries and videos using the unprecedented content captured throughout the journey. This includes:
- A Canada Day launch of a 45 minute documentary
- A drone video to be featured during the upcoming G7 Summit in Charlevoix
- A feature documentary to be released in 2019
About the 45-minute documentary: Experience the historic Canada C3 Expedition through this inspiring short film retracing the historic 150-day icebreaker journey from Toronto to Victoria through the Northwest Passage in 2017.
From coast to coast to coast, the expedition and its diverse teams of Canadians, sailed over 25,000 kilometres, visiting communities, national parks, marine protected areas, and many other remote and extraordinary corners of the country, while discovering and sharing profound stories about the people, places, wildlife, history and cultures that make up this vast, beautiful and diverse country – a community of communities.
Narrated by Canada C3 Alum, Sarain Carson Fox and Maxime Le Flaguais, this never before seen footage from the world’s longest coastline will educate, entertain and inspire!
This documentary launched on July 1, 2018 at the Canadian Museum of History and will run through Labour Day weekend.
The Canada C3 documentary is featured every day in English and French, alternating every hour. View the Canadian Museum of History’s website for show times. The Canada C3 documentary is free with museum admission.
